AI agents & chatbots

Not a menu of buttons with canned replies — an assistant that understands the question, answers from your data, and carries the conversation to a booked call or a placed order.

A classic chatbot is a decision tree. The customer clicks "Shipping," gets a paragraph, and if their actual question didn't fit the script, they leave. That bot doesn't help — it filters out everyone whose patience ran out first.

An AI agent works differently. It reads the question the way a person asked it, answers from your materials, asks for details when they're missing, and offers to take a contact at the right moment. The conversation reads like messaging a well-briefed rep — except it replies in seconds and doesn't sleep.

What an AI agent does

Six jobs with customers — and one for your own team

Answers customer questions

Pricing, terms, lead times, availability, how the service works — everything your team explains ten times a day. It answers from your materials, not from imagination.

Qualifies leads

Asks about the task, budget and timeline, then hands your team a prepared lead instead of a bare phone number. Your rep opens the conversation already knowing what it's about.

Creates the record in your CRM

The contact from the conversation lands in your CRM automatically — normalized phone, source, and a short summary of what the person needs.

Books calls and appointments

Offers available slots, records the booking, sends confirmation and reminders. Works for consultations, services, classes and rentals alike.

Knows your catalog and orders

For stores: finds products, checks stock, looks up an order by phone or order number, gives tracking, handles return requests.

Works around the clock

An inquiry at 2 a.m., on a weekend, mid-season — the answer arrives immediately. The customer doesn't have time to go to a competitor while waiting.

Where it lives

One agent, one knowledge base, every channel

The agent works where your customers already are — your site, messengers, social inboxes. One agent, one knowledge base, the same rules: the customer doesn't care which channel they used, and you don't maintain three different bots.

Every conversation lands in your CRM, so by the time a rep calls, the customer's questions are already in the record.

See it before you buy it

Two working demos — this page and our homepage

The chat on this site is one of ours. Ask it anything about automation for your business — it will ask about your operation, suggest what's worth automating, and if you're interested, capture the contact and hand our team a summary of the conversation.

And there's the prompt block on our homepage — a ready-made prompt you can paste into the AI you already use, so it can tell you what to automate in your own business. We'd rather show the thing working than describe it.

Why this isn't a chatbot builder

A tree you maintain vs. a process we build

A builder gives you an interface to draw the reply tree yourself. That works while the questions stay simple and identical. Then the familiar part starts: customers phrase things the script didn't anticipate, the tree grows, nobody maintains it, the bot annoys people.

We build the agent around your actual processes: connected to your knowledge base and CRM, with explicit rules for when it answers and when it hands off, tuned so it doesn't promise things you can't deliver. It's part of how you work with customers, not a widget bolted on top.

How we work

Four steps
  1. 01

    Free 30-minute call

We look at what your customers ask most and where an agent earns its keep.

  2. 02

    Discovery & audit

From $900. Scope and boundaries: what the agent handles alone, what it clarifies, what goes straight to a human. Plus the knowledge sources it will use.

  3. 03

    Implementation

From $3,000. Connecting your systems, loading the knowledge base, testing on real questions before launch.

  4. 04

    Ongoing support

From $500/mo. After launch we review actual conversations and tune the answers. An agent gets better with use, but only if someone looks at the transcripts.

The prompt is ready

See how we'd help your business — on autopilot

We've prepared a ready-made prompt for you. Add a few words about your business, and AI will show which Proplat services would best remove your busywork and free up time for growth.

FAQ

What people ask before a project starts
How is an AI agent different from a regular chatbot?

A regular bot follows a button tree and only handles anticipated paths. An AI agent understands freely worded questions, answers from your materials, and decides when to hand the conversation to a person.

Won't it make things up?

It answers from the materials it's given, not from general knowledge. We explicitly define what it never says — no prices or lead times it doesn't know, no promises that aren't approved. Anything outside its scope goes to your team.

How much does it cost?

Implementation starts at $3,000, discovery and audit from $900, ongoing support from $500 a month. The number depends on channels, knowledge base size and which systems it connects to. The first call is free.

How long until it's live?

A basic agent usually ships in 2–3 weeks. Complex scenarios with CRM and internal system integrations take longer. After launch we spend a few more weeks tuning it on real conversations.

Will it replace our reps?

It takes the repetitive questions and the first contact, so your people work where people matter — complex cases and closing. For most teams the outcome isn't fewer people, it's more inquiries handled by the same team.

What about customer data?

Conversations and contacts live in your CRM, not "somewhere in a bot." We agree upfront on what's collected and why, and document it in your site's privacy policy.

Can it connect to our CRM?

If it has an API, yes — that's a standard part of the project. We handle it as part of our API integrations work.

Talk to our agent — then decide

The chat at the bottom of this page is a working example. Ask it a few questions, then let's discuss what an assistant like this would look like in your business.
